The “Student Life” photo contest promoted by the SUNRISE university alliance has been launched, an initiative aimed at students from partner universities with the goal of portraying academic life through images in its various aspects. Officially opened on 20 March 2026, the contest invites participants to share their perspective on the university experience, highlighting everyday moments, study environments, relationships, and cultural elements that define academic life. The initiative is part of the broader activities of the SUNRISE Alliance, which promotes cooperation among European universities and the international dimension of student life.

Participation takes place exclusively via Instagram. Interested students must post a photograph on their personal profile, use their university-specific hashtag, and tag the official account @sunrise.alliance.  The winner will receive a fully funded trip to attend the SUNRISE Summit, scheduled to take place in Västerås, Sweden, in May 2026. The prize includes travel and accommodation. 

The deadline for submissions is set for 20 April 2026, and the winner will be announced by the end of the same month.
