REWAPE – Reduce waste, optimize purchase

REWAPE uses AI to cut food waste in hospitality SMEs and optimise procurement through more accurate demand forecasting.

REWAPE aims to develop an innovative technology solution based on Artificial Intelligence to minimise food waste and optimise procurement processes in small and medium-sized hospitality enterprises in Italy, where it is often challenging to effectively match supply with the actual needs of guests. By relying on historical data and patterns in guest behaviour, the solution enables more accurate and timely forecasting of food demand.

The project includes a pilot phase focused on the co-creation of the technological solution in close collaboration with hospitality businesses, primarily located in Trentino-Alto Adige and Sardinia, followed by a scale-up phase aimed at extending the solution across the entire national territory.
